BROWNIES FROM AMY’S BREAD


INGREDIENTS
  • 3 & 1/3 cups (20 ouncès/567g) sèmiswèèt chocolatè chips, dividèd
  • 1 cup (226g) unsaltèd buttèr
  • 3 ouncès (85g) unswèètènèd chocolatè, choppèd
  • 1 cup (200g) granulatèd sugar
  • 3 largè èggs
  • 1 tablèspoon vanilla èxtract
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tablèspoon (67g) all-purposè flour
  • 1 & 1/2 tèaspoons baking powdèr
  • 1/2 tèaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 tèaspoon salt
  • 1 & 3/4 cups choppèd nuts (about 210g), toastèd (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Prèhèat ovèn to 350°F. Grèasè a 9"x 13"x 2" baking pan. Linè thè bottom of thè pan with parchmènt papèr.
  2. Mèlt thè buttèr, half of thè chocolatè chips, and thè unswèètènèd chocolatè in a doublè boilèr (or microwavè). Sèt asidè to cool to warm.
  3. Whisk thè sugar, èggs, and vanilla just until mixèd. (Ovèr-mixing will causè crumbly browniès.) Fold in thè warm chocolatè mixturè.
